Dark Bond Halloween Drabble 2
Heero finished his task and immediately his mind turned towards his lifemate. "Where are you?"
"Waiting for you, love, where else?" Duo's mental reply was tinged with amusement. "You took long enough talking to Trowa. I think I should be jealous."
"He had a lot of news," Heero sent a mental caress. "I'm sorry it took so long."
"Good news I hope?"
"Irea's daughter thrives. The Prince's lifemate is expecting."
"No bad news?"
"A few have fallen to the dark, the humans still try and hunt us-"
A wave of anger from his lifemate. "They had better not try it here."
Heero felt the urge to seek out his lifemate, to soothe that anger away. Before he could get up from his desk, Duo pushed open the door to his office and slipped inside.
"Here I am." He said with a smile. "I have fed, but I'm sure you need to as well." He moved close enough for Heero to catch him and pull him down onto his lap.
"I can spend time with you first."
"Better than that." Duo tilted his head to the side. "I have enough."
Heero nuzzled his neck, tightened his arms around Duo. "You take such good care of me."
"I'm only returning the affection you show me." Duo's eyes closed as Heero's mouth warmed his skin. "I can feel your hunger. Feed."
"I intend to," Heero sounded amused, and Duo was not surprised to find his clothing gone a moment later, himself spread out on Heero's desk.
"Insatiable," Duo chided as Heero's mouth fastened on his neck- as his hands slid down Duo's body...
"For you- always."
