Here is "hurt & comfort" situation where both of them rather than one of them were hurt (imagine whatever you like). They are so confused, they don't know exactly how to cope with what they've gone through let alone their feeling for each other, but they are still comforted by just each other's presence alone, and it's enough for now... Eventually they will discover they really do need each other \(^o^)/
