Cat-shifting Pirates Part 4

Well, well, his find was proving to be more and more of a puzzle all the time. He didn't change forms? Duo studied the other man for a moment in amazement. Heero turned his face away, focusing on the door, obviously thinking of escape.

Oh no, there would be none of that- he reached out and hauled his prize up onto the bed, pinning him in place. "Well, if you won't talk- we'll just have to find something else to do-" He nuzzled Heero's throat, tasting his scent on his tongue. So very warm...

"Get off me," his lovely prize growled, even as his head tilted back a little bit, exposing more of his throat to Duo's mouth.

"You don't change, hm? I'd bet you've never given into the heat either..."

"Only animals can't control themselves-" The words were sharp, but the tone wasn't.

"Humans are animals," Duo pointed out and placed his mouth on the pulse point of Heero's throat. A shudder ran through his captive's body and Duo smiled against that golden skin. "Besides, it just gets worse if you fight it- you know that, don't you?"

"It's just a chemical thing. It stops in a few days."

"We could make it stop in less time than that..." Duo bit down, gently, and was rewarded with another shudder.

"If I just let you do what you want?" Heero gave him a sudden push, but Duo had been expecting that. He rolled, pulling Heero over with him, reversing their positions. Heero blinked at him in surprise.

Duo smiled wider, teeth glinting, as he arched his body against Heero's. "Or you could do what you want to me," he suggested. "You are the one with the chemical issue after-"

Before he could finish, Heero's mouth covered his, demanding and fierce and so very warm... He slid his hands up Heero's back, pulling him closer, and his fingers skimmed over Heero's shoulder- there was a scar- a mark- something-

Heero pulled away suddenly and they both tumbled to the floor. "Ouch!"

"Let go of me!" Heero twisted away, but Duo didn't let go. He focused his attention on Heero's shoulder.

One look at the mark and all of the pieces fell into place.

"Why? Afraid that I'll stick you in a cage and drain your blood?"

His comment hit the mark. Heero lost all of his color and stopped struggling. "Isn't that what all half-breeds do?"

"No. The Claw Clan is hated by us- and by most of the other clans. No one believes you can steal a pure blood's power through their blood or by eating their flesh or by carrying their skin or teeth." Duo snarled a little. "How long did they hold you?"

"Two years."

"You survived two years with them?"

"I was very young. They were waiting for me to get old enough..." Heero turned his face away.

"No wonder you hate your beast."

"Do you expect me to believe you aren't the same as them? After all- I'm worth a 'bloody fortune', aren't I? Isn't that what your crewman said?"

Duo laughed. "You're worth a bloody fortune to us because our leaders want pure bloods in their fighting crews- not that I have any intention of selling you."

"And why is that?"

"I think it would be much more fun to keep you- and show you that there is something to like about your beast."

"And just how do you intend to do that?"

"I was hoping you'd ask," Duo threw a leg over Heero's lap and leaned close. "I was hoping we could start with fixing that chemical problem of yours- and then go from there....."
