Unless I am doing manga, most of my pics are done with watercolor pencils and little pastels on background. But I haven't been very happy with the way I color my pics. I wanted to do more. \(-o-)/

When it comes to analog coloring, I believe that color inks are most versatile, even better than copic markers. But I didn't want to spend any more money on supplies *LOL* Color inks and copic markers can cost quite muchly. So rather than investing mucho money into new coloring supplies, I wanted to work on my skills instead. Cheaper solution is always good for House of ASIA. *nod*

So I was experimenting to color more like watercolor using my watercolor pencils... I tried similar things before but I wanted to try more this time. I think the key is the type of paintbrushes to use. I normally use bigger size brushes, but apparently I can do more detailed coloring using very tiny brush. It takes longer to do of course but I think I can afford couple of more paintbrushes... definitely better solution than buying a whole set of color ink or something *nodnodnod* It may not look all that much different to your eyes, but I like the way coloring turned out (^_^) It's a start at least. I may explore similar things in future... I want a new relationship with my watercolor pencils (^O^)/"
