OK so after I browsed around Japanese fanart sites from various newer fandoms, I decided to challenge myself ever more. This time I am experimenting with color. I wanted to challenge myself with more subtle coloring... my weakness (-o-;) I also have a bad habit of over-emphasizing outlines so I wanted to work on it. Clear outlines and crisp colors are fine for anime style, but as an analog fanartist, one of my goals is to express what can only be enjoyed in analog fanarts. This one started out really good but I caught myself trying to thicken outlines every which way, therefore having to over-color it to match, and I had to stop myself in the middle of my bad habit loop eventually \(=_=;;)/ Bad hands, baaaaaad! Oh well... this is just one of my first experiment with color, so hopefully I get better at it next time. Control, ASIA, control! ~\(-o-)/~
