Chocolate Talk
One glance towards the window makes Heero very glad that he has the day off. Sheets of snow are pouring out of the sky. The wind is so strong that it's almost impossible to move against it. Nothing can be seen clearly through the window.
He moves into the kitchen and starts to prepare something to drink. Just as the drinks are ready, the front door is opened noisily.
Duo's black coat has turned white from the snow. Despite the thick gloves, scarf and thick clothing that he has on him, the American is still shivering from the cold.
Wordlessly, Heero passes one of the hot drinks in his hands and quickly helps Duo to be rid of the damp garments before leading the freezing young man to sit in front of the fireplace, wrapped tightly in a thick blanket.
The two sit in silence, enjoying the company. Eventually, the warmth from the drink and the fire starts to seep through. "Thanks love. You make the best hot chocolate you know?" Duo said.
"Just the chocolate?" Heero teases.
Duo pretends to ponder, "Well... I would say you are the best in a lot of things, especially in one particular area." He grins mischievously. "You take such good care of me. What did I ever do to deserve you?"
Heero looks Duo straight in the eyes, tenderly. "All you need to do is love me. I don't need anything else."
