Disclaimer: A-chan has long since lost her sanity and has never owned GWing.

Summery: I implied in Pet Peeves that Heero won two tickets to a chibi island. This is what happens during the trip. *grins*

Notes: Back by popular demand! Chibi Ahoy!, the third fic in the series which I have come to call "Owners' Strife" (thank you Lady Tora!).

Owners' Strife 3: Chibi Ahoy! Part 1
I.: The Start of it All...~

Upon first glance, the Yuy-Maxwell household looked like any other happy family. They had a papa, er, another papa, they lived in a two-story house surrounded by a white picket fence. They had a lawn, a moderatly sized backyard with a tomato patch, a pool, and a small, well-kept rose garden.

But they had one thing that distinguished them from any other household in Villeston: A family of chibis.

Well, that and the mounted missiles hidden in various bushes all around the house. But that's beside the point. *sweatdrops*

(Heero: *stoic* Duo only let me have 94.
A-chan: ^^; I think that's quite enough, Heero...there won't be any criminals around here...!)

*clears throat* Anyway, as the fic was saying, Heero Yuy and spouse Duo Maxwell have a family of chibis in their house...

Heero: And under the seat cushions, and inside my computer, and in the sugar bowl, and in the blender, the cookie jar, my shoes, my bed (which can be somewhat inconvenient when all I have in mind is Duo and a can of whip cream), my face, my--
A-chan: We get the idea. *laughs nervously*

Moving right along...

Duo stretched languidly on the satin sheets and yawned, throwing an arm and leg over his soul mate. "Wmph mnph hm wm?" he inquired with crystal-clear coherency.

Heero groaned in annoyance at being wakened from a very pleasant dream involving Duo and nothing else. He soon got over it, however, after wrapping his arm around the American's waist and deciding that he liked the real thing much better than just a dream sequence. "Hmm?"

"What time is it?" Duo clarified, rubbing his cheek against his love's collarbone tenderly.

"It's..." Heero squinted his eyes at the bedside clock, "seven thirty." He buried his nose in the fragrant chestnut silk.

"Shiiiiiiini!" a small, gentle--ah hell with it! A rather loud and insistent voice trilled from the other side of the bedroom door.

"Omae o korosu!" a deeper sound boomed out.

A chorus of "Ninmu ryoukai!", "Shinigami!", "Lonely!", "I'm your friend!", and "Kisama!"[1] accompanied the cries of the adults. A series of thumping followed the Morning Performance.

Heero sighed. "Remind me again why we took in those stray chibiets."

Duo began to get up, but his lover pulled him back down to exchange a sloppy kiss. "Because they were abandoned, starving, and sick. And Shini brought them home," he breathed.

The Japanese man's eyebrows unfurrowed. "Hn."

"SHINI!" came the cry again, volume a notch higher.

Heero growled and released his partner, who laughed and climbed off of him. Duo pulled on a pair of boxers and unbolted the loose panel in the door to admit the rest of their family. Shini, Bramble, and the chibiests all tiptoed in, one after another in a reformed line.

The duo looked up at the scowling Duo (-_-) sheepishly. "Shini?" he tried.

The American crouched down to reach his pet and Shini leapt onto his knee, hugging the slender leg with his little arms to the best of their abilities.

Duo shook his head, glaring a little. "That won't work this time, sweetheart."

The chibi's shoulders slumped and the violet eyes now peeked at him through limp bangs. Duo sighed and sat back, careful not to jostle the critter clinging to his thigh.

"What have I told you about Sunday mornings, hmm?"

Shini clapped his hands together and laid them against his cheek, eyelids sliding closed.

Duo nodded. "Uh-huh. Your Hee-touchan and I want to sleep in." He tapped the raided head of his mini look-alike lightly. "That means quiet until ten o'clock. And you serve yourself breakfast." He turned to Bramble. "That goes for you as well. You two know better than this, ne?"

The heero hmphed and crossed his arms, looking away from the person reprimanding him. Both Duo and Heero knew he didn't like being told what or what not to do. And he didn't like seeing his mate in trouble either. "Hn."

Duo poked him in the tummy and he glared at the American in outrage. Then he sighed and stomped away to back against the wall.

"Now scoot, all of you." Duo set Shini on the carpet and shooed all seven chibis out to the hall. He bolted the panel again and Heero snorted in amusement.

"I still say you've been--no, you ARE too lenient. Discipline should be strong where it's needed."

Duo made a face and settled next to him on the bed. "I don't want them to be afraid of me. Besides," he yawned, "lenient or not, they're still learning."

"Hn." He closed his eyes. "Oh wait," he said suddenly.

"Yes?"

"I forgot to tell you last night--"

To his dismay, Duo burst into giggles. "Heero? Are you OK, love? Oh my, I can just see the headlines now. 'Heero Yuy Forgets Something'!"

Heero bopped him on the head. "Ch'. You know how I entered that Enthralling Chibi Contest a few weeks ago?"

Duo blinked. "Yeah? What about it?"

"I won us two tickets to Chibistar, plus the chibis."

The American cocked his head, then a wide grin spread over his face. "Wai! Sugoi, Heero! How could you forget THAT??"

The ex-Wing pilot sent him a dark look. "Last I checked, you can't remember anything when someone is licking lemon-flavored ice cream from your stomach either."

"Ouch, got me."

TBC...

-_-; Ack, there it is, part 1.

Trowa and Quatre are in this too, incase you were wondering about the pairings I put up there. *points*

[1] ^_~ Yup, those three adopted chibis consisted of a trowa, a quatre, and a wufei.
